Simple, transparent fees
Couples therapy: $250 / 75-minute session • Initial consultation: free / 15 minutes
Do you accept insurance?
We're a private-pay practice and don't bill insurance directly. We can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Couples therapy coverage varies by plan, and reimbursement isn't guaranteed.
Why 75 minutes?
It gives us time to hear both partners and work with an interaction once it comes up, rather than stopping just as we get somewhere useful.
How long will therapy take?
It depends on your goals and circumstances. We'll review what's changing and whether continuing makes sense.
I'm afraid you'll take sides.
I take both of you seriously. I may challenge something that's hurting the relationship, but my job isn't to decide which partner is the good one.
What happens in the free consultation?
You'll give me the short version of why you're reaching out, ask questions and see whether working together makes sense. It's not a therapy session.
Where can we be located?
You must be physically located in a state where I am licensed at the time of your session: WA, OR, ID, TX, FL, CO, MN, CT or AZ.
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full $250 fee. Unexpected circumstances are considered case by case; there's no charge for a session lost to a technical problem on my end.
Good Faith Estimate
If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive an estimate of expected treatment costs before treatment begins.
